UP teacher exposed for assaulting girls after students taught about ‘good touch, bad touch’

A school teacher was detained in India’s Uttar Pradesh state after another teacher at the school found out that he was touching female students inappropriately. After the incident became public, infuriated locals surrounded the school in Lalitpur district and sought police action against the accused.

Teacher exposed during ‘good touch, bad touch’ interaction

According to the village head, named Roop Singh, the ordeal of the students, from class 1 to 3, came to light when another teacher was teaching them about ‘good touch, bad touch’.

When the teacher taught the students about bad touch, their said the accused teacher had been doing the same to them frequently, said Roop Singh.

It was soon revealed that the accused teacher had been subjecting the girls to sexual assault for a long time.

Notably, ‘good touch, bad touch’ is taught to children at a young age to educate them about sexual assault.

After the villagers launched protest against him, police arrested the accused. Police said the investigation was going on.
