Minor arrested in connection to hoax bomb threats to Indian airlines
The Mumbai Police has nabbed a minor in connection to the spree of hoax bomb threats received by Indian airlines in the last 72 hours. According to reports, the minor sent bomb threats to four flights using a fake social media account that he made in his friend’s name to implicate him.
The messages were posted from Rajnandgaon in the central-eastern Indian state of Chhattisgarh. According to the investigators, the information related to the threat messages was first received by the authorities on Monday (Oct 14) morning. Since then, two more FIRs have been registered.
